Those craftsman "pocket socket" adjustable wrenches are very handy for holding chisels. Two sizes of adjustable wrenches by craftsman. 43380 and 43381. I doubt I’ll use these much but they’re odd and we’re in great shape. I think I gave $5 for the pair.

Nice scores.Nice tool box. I love those older craftsman boxes.
Here’s a few of mine over the past several months. I found them at antique stores mostly.
Old well-loved snap on top box. I don’t remember what I gave for it but it needed a lot of cleaning and I added rubber drawer mats. I use it for odd and end tools that I don’t want in my main box (drill bits, files, chisels, punches, consumables, etc).
A 1/2” drive snap on ratchet with longer handle(15” overall). It’s old and some plating is missing but once I took it apart, cleaned and lubed it, it works great. $15
A 1/2” drive craftsman ratchet with V selector switch. I tore it down, cleaned and relubed. Works great. $12

Craftsman bit driver with storage in the handle for bits and you can unscrew the collar to make it a wobble end. $2

That's an old Snap-On K-260. Snap-On made that box from1939 to 1946. There are people in the Snap-On collecting/Old tool collecting hobby who consider the K-260 to be the absolute Holy Grail of old toolboxes. At the time it was in production it was the very top of the line for Snap-On. The K-260 was also the very first box that was painted red at the factory. Yours looks like it was either repainted orange at some point in time, or maybe the red paint just faded to the shade it is now. Orange or not it's a great old toolbox. Another member here had one last year:Years ago when my friend moved out of his parents' house after his father passed, he had no room for this tool box (or just didn't want to deal with the weight of it) so he gave it to me after I helped him sort out the tools (keep versus yard sale). There's a lot of damaged internal bits so it lives in my basement office instead of being used for garage work, but I really like having it! I store a bunch of infrequently used or spare/alternate tools in the top and constantly forget about the bottom half (in part because it's a weird layout and way more rusty).
Not my most recent, but I saw all the tool boxes and figured I'd share mine.

Wow, I figured it was old but I was estimating 60s or early 70s. Years ago I was trying to search for what model it was and gave up after a few unsatisfactory searches since I didn't plan on selling it. I probably should have picked out a better clear coat to spray on it, if not leaving it as-is, like I did with the bottom. Part of the orange is my 6000K studio lighting making my phone's white balance unhappy; the top is certainly more vibrant, but it is much more red in person. Very much appreciate the info! That's an old Snap-On K-260. Snap-On made that box from1939 to 1946. Haha indeed, it can maybe handle that without anything in it, but only barely! He should know not to open all the drawers at once!

I always liked this picture of a K-260. The mechanic in the picture just looks like he knows his stuff.

They apprenticed in those days. He is holding the micrometer correctly the way it was taught to me. A model could be taught that, but probably not. The can is really cool! I wonder if the anti seize still works as well as the new stuff, or if they changed the formula? Here is a used vintage ball peen hammer. Blue Point USA made 12oz. 12oz seems to be the hardest size to find but it’s useful.

Also do you consider this a tool? Vintage can of anti seize dated copyright 1968. I saw it on eBay and had to add it to my collection it’s full too doesn’t look like it ever got used. Came all the way from Arizona to me. I probably overpaid for it but oh well it’s cool and you never see old cans of anti seize. I wonder when they switched to plastic from metal cans. It smells the same. Different from the new new stuff in the white can with a gray label but the same as the gray bottle/can with the printed on letters. The can is really cool! I wonder if the anti seize still works as well as the new stuff, or if they changed the formula?
