Can you tell what the debris is in the filter? Will a magnet pick any of it up? A UOA that can only see particles 5u or less isn't really going to pickup major wear issues going on. This seems to be one of those cases. Filter inspection is the only good way to see it.More glitter

How many miles on this vehicle, and which OCI was this?
Must be aluminum then. Copper was shown to be high in the UOA, but doesn't look like copper. Whatever it is, I would not say it's anywhere near normal. Talk to the dealership about you're findings? Should still be under warranty being it's a 2024.Particles in filter will not stick to a magnet.
40K on car. I've owned it since 26K. 5K on oil.
This is the 3rd OCI since I've had it. All of the filters looked like this and I've posted them all on here.
I agree. I've never seen that much metal in any filter from an engine in good running condition including many HD diesel engine oil filters I've inspected.Must be aluminum then. Might bring it to a dealership to bring it to their attention so they can also note it. I take it the engine doesn't make any abnormal noises (?).I think the best thing I can do now is be sure to document all my maintenance. I'm doing that on CARFAX Car Care and Amsoil Garage, keeping receipts and taking photos of drain plug and filter removed. I think I'll continue UOA's as well.
Another Mann 610/3 and PUP 0W-20.It held up. What filter went on? Thank You
I really don't have any experience with Nissan 5.6 V8's so I may take your suggestion and at least talk to the service manager at the dealership where we bought it but the engine seems to run very well. No strange noises. It's my wife's car and is usually garaged but I have started it several times in the garage with the driver's door open and it sounds just how you would expect a new engine to, no rattles or any odd startup noises whatsoever. I might try the screwdriver stethoscope on the front cover while starting and stopping the engine. Something is wearing abnormally and I assume will eventually rear it's head.Might bring it to a dealership to bring it to their attention so they can also note it. I have several more of these Mann filters. They seem well built so I'll continue using them.
Nissan did have a recall on some models for metal in the oil (bearings eating themselves), but the 2024 Armada wasn't listed. I'd let a dealer know what you've seen in the oil and filter and see what they say ... can't hurt to bring it up with a Nissan dealership.I really don't have any experience with Nissan 5.6 V8's so I may take your suggestion and at least talk to the service manager at the dealership where we bought it but the engine seems to run very well.
