This is off of my Son-in-law’s 2018 Jeep Compass with a 2.4 Multiair

This is at a little over 5,000 miles on the oil and this filter. The oil was Quaker State 0W20 Full Synthetic

Beautiful pictures - nice job! I am not a fan of those fiber end cap Fram models but the TG is a step up and appears to have a good media blend. The filter did it's job and that is what counts at the end of the day!
That’s a lot of TG goodness you’re in danger of working @Zee09 into a lather.

Long time TG fan myself but recent First Brands shenanigans finally moved me off them.

I've used Fram for quite a while now, but with the quality dropping with First Brands problems, I've decided to move on. Who knows if Fram will ever come back?
Any oil changes going forward, I'll be using Carquest Premium filters based on the posted C&P photos shared on this forum. If not Carquest Premium, it'll be the Mobil 1 filters.

I've never found the paper end caps to be a problem. The glue bonds to the paper filter material just fine so end cap of same / similar material makes good sense. What I don't like is the leaf-spring system as I've see that fail several times causing bad seal or a partially loose cartridge. No more leaf springs for me.

Crappy filter.all the p delta is it called? Wide gaped media
Sure it works but stress from oil flowing,pressure..could tear it.
