....and tow a 4-horse trailer on long trips down dirt roads that require 4x4, with 4 people and riding gear?

When I was a kid, a local guy 15 yrs older than I, was a mason. He bought a 2nd hand , light blue 64 Chevy 1/2 ton. I met him pumping gas this summer, still driving the pickup. It was gleaming. Dave keeps it waxed and shiny. A 51 yr old daily driver. He has a 65 Fleetwood in the same shape. It is all in the up keep.

Explain???

$100 per oil change 250,000/3,000=83.3 oil changes, so $8300 in oil.
VS
$30 using say an AAP oil change special, 250,000/6000=41.6 so $1248 in oil.

Terrible sorry I was off he wasted $7k on oil, he could have simply rebuilt the motor at 250k and been ahead with a fresh engine.

Didn't know F250's were so poorly built that they couldn't be compared to a 17 year old Nissan. My appologies.

And a f250 that regularly tows both on and off road is a helluva lot different from a nissan car.
