Cast iron indeedLodge cast iron would be a good start!
I'm looking for a set of cooking pans that are made in USA. Any suggestions?
I need to replace our cookware and am in the same market. Good to know about All Clad. Also looking at Heritage Steel. We have All Clad pans, have had them for almost 20 years and they’re like new. We also have some smaller USA made revere ware pots that are useful for certain things.
Are the ALL Clad pans you have stainless or non stick ? I see they sell both.We have All Clad pans, have had them for almost 20 years and they’re like new. We also have some smaller USA made revere ware pots that are useful for certain things.
Cooking on stainless or cast iron is all I’ve ever known. My parents have revere stainless, and they’re had a few enameled pieces. We have all clad and cast iron, and a le cruset enameled Dutch oven type pot/roasting thing. Sure we have always had a nonstick pan for a quick egg, but for rid of any teflon stuff a decade ago or more when pfas issues were only for bird people and conspiracy theorists.I need to replace our cookware and am in the same market. We have never had stainless cook ware, we have had non- stick teflon type pans. Currently Calphalon.
How is cooking different on stainless verses non stick coated pans ? Are stainless pans easy to clean?
We are looking at the Heritage Steel Titanium series. USA made.

Cooking with stainless steel is definitely more forgiving than non-stick cookware because you don’t care about scratching the coating (since there isn’t one) or overheating it and letting off fumes. It’s like cooking with cast iron in some ways but more forgiving as you don’t need to avoid acidic dishes like tomato sauce that could mess up the seasoning.I need to replace our cookware and am in the same market.
