me and wifey will be going to Sri Lanka for a month to visit my parents...

I see that our oem Apple in-wall charger we got with the Ipod mini is rated for 110-240 volts, which means it can be used in Sri Lanka (230v household) for charging, without the need for a converter. I confirmed this in an Apple forum, too. (I was lucky, the in-wall apple chargers made later are not multi voltage like the earlier ones).

However I do need a US-to-Asia type plug adapter so I can plug it into a wall outlet there due to different pin-style, like this one:

US/Asia adapter

online, it'll be about $8.00 with shipping.

Where can I find (which stores) such an adapter othet than on internet?
would the regular electrical parts section in Wally/Lowes/Kmart carry such a thing?

Thanks a lot!

Try your local luggage store. They're usually good about carrying that sort of thing.

Of course, you'll usually be able to buy that kind of stuff at a kiosk or store in the international terminal of an airport, too.

Sprintman,

did you find them at airport shops in your country or in India? (or do all airport shops have them?)
