Update to my listening room.

Just added a video addition to my listening room. Was given a 6 year old LG 65” OLED tv. The WiFi chip is failing (doesn’t always connect) but the tv works just fine. Solved the lack of “smart functions “ with the addition of an Amazon 4K Firestick. Incredible imaging.
Been a Star Trek fan for decades. Some versions better than others. So far, Star Trek Academy is not doing it for me.

Looks great! I have a 65" LG OLED. Mines 3 years old now (2-1/2 anyway.) My biggest limitation is the source material. Watch older stuff and picture not as good, but when it's modern movies and shows, looks amazing.

My place is a mess, and not classy. But at least the speakers have one long term scratchy driver that I can't seem to locate.... Adds to the realism.

Yes. Musical Concepts modified DH 220 amp and DH 110 preamp. Great sound.

Mine is connected to an NAD 1240...but used to be connected to a classic NAD 3020. Everything probably needs to be inspected and recapped at this point.

Nice, I remember those, they sounded quite good IIRC. That really is a classic system. Early 1990's?

Do you cross them over at 125HZ like so many folks did back in the day? I tend to like the crossover lower for bookshelf speakers, especially if a bit of equalization is thrown in to compensate for roll off.

Mid 80’s. No changes to the crossover from factory. I do enjoy the sound. With good source material (well pressed vinyl or ultraHD streaming) the speakers disappear into the sound stage.

Just out of high school, I spent more money on stereo gear then I made. I had a Hafler DH 220 amp, DH 110 preamp, and Yamaha tuner for roughly 5 years before they were stolen. That was a long time ago..............it was good equipment, I still miss it.

Actually just attached a cat6 cable to my eero WiFi extender. All works like new!

Just out of high school, I spent more money on stereo gear then I made. I had a Hafler DH 220 amp, DH 110 preamp, and Yamaha tuner for roughly 5 years before they were stolen. That was a long time ago..............it was good equipment, I still miss it.

Pre 1980 I built the Hafler DH101 preamp, and the DH200 power amp. They were in my opinion, a great deal, and I did enjoy them.
