Update on Noise Solved with PF-52 for '97 Z71

Months ago I had upper engine noise which was in effect caused by name brand filters not having sufficient anti-flow-back valves. Thanks to the guys on this site, the GM filter did the trick and its been at least 6 oil changes since with virtually NO NOISE.

Don't think so, more likely oil starvation of lifters on startup, have'nt seen any evidence that abfv has any effect on the cold start piston slap.
