update on National bearing quality?

Im a timken guy through and through esp for trailer bearings but curious is national (despite being made in china like timken) quality still up to par?

Reason is sometimes I need it asap and advance auto parts carries them-

I think the biggest factor on bearing life is the grease used.

Grease counts, but I have been seeing bearing failures that seem to be caused by soft parts (maybe heat treatment is off).

No, just on some lawn mower bearings sold on Amazon. I know, what could you expect.

Look for "American Bearing Manufacturers Association"(ABMA) on the box. Thats the key

Timken and National are both hit and miss lately. Seems like Japan is the only one making good bearings now but that's a gamble with all the fakes.
