Thought I would let everyone know what I found in my Sable that I posted around 3 weeks ago. Jacked the car up and put in neutral - passenger front wheel would rotate backwards but not forward. Looking underneath nothing obvious could be seen like an axle or strut snapped. Upon looking closer at the wheel when getting ready to remove it I noticed a slight groove in the inside where the brake dust is heavy. Wheel came off fine and then the caliper was loose. Top bolt came out and must be what the loud noise my wife described as a tire popping. Needless to say a $6.99 bolt from NAPA was able to get me back on the road. Checked the other bolt and it was also loose. I did this brake job about 9 months ago and looking back not sure but maybe I only hand tightened and forgot to torque the bolts down. Car is back on the road and runs great.
Thanks to everyone for the input and wanted to let everyone know what it was.
