UOA Guessing Game

Just sent a used oil analysis off to Blackstone for our van.

10,200 mile interval, 40,253 miles on the engine. I'm drawing a blank on the hours of the interval and the engine. I think the engine is up to 1283hrs and the interval was in the 300s.

Oil: Pennzoil Ultra 5w30
Filter: Wix 57526

Not what I would call very severe service, but it has been known to idle some. Generally sees 20 miles each way for a commute and it's practically our only car on the weekend since it's a little tricky to get a family of four and all the stuff in my Neon.

Sent it UPS Ground yesterday so I should have an answer by the end of the week or Monday.

I think it will show plenty of life left in the oil. The OLM tripped after 7500 miles.

Any guesses on what will come back?

Definitely asked for TBN also got TAN in case it's worth anything.

Not hate, just not sure their comments convey any useful information. The averages they provide are not all that helpful. They charge too much for TBN and do not give oxidation and nitration.

Blackstone is geared for your auto enthusiast. Polaris/OAI is geared for fleets, commercial and a few from BITOG.
