if your car has force induction--it is beneficial, or if you have massive blow by and you can't eliminate it. Otherwise, don't waste you time and money.

This catch can looks well built and could help on a car that is using lots of oil.

I remember my friend's Windstar that had issues due to lots of oil going back into the intake and fouling things up. In a case like this it could help.

It isn't clear to me how the oil gets drained - maybe the bottom unscrews?

Seems very nice for the price!
A catch can is NOT for special needs. It keeps blowby condensed gasses, oil, and condensed water vapor out of the intake and valves. This keeps your TB, IAC motor, intake, valves, and combustion chamber cleaner.

Factories can not put these on because they require frequent maintenance [dump the juice out!]. They are not 50k emission equipment.

This piece looks far better than the air/water separator that I use, for comparable money.

Since most vehicles do not have a catch can it's obvious they are not needed.

But they are beneficial to many. No one can argue if the intake and TB is cleaner but they could argue for days if it really matters much.

Very platform dependent.
