Unifi started to ship WIFI 7 outdoor access point

Unifi just started to ship this product and via software control you can change how directional it is or screw on unidirectional antennas. I bought three for the church and will install them in August.

But they can pull 19W so POE+. That's a big power budget.

I have a couple instances with a pole mounted Unifi Flex switch powering several access points or cameras. I need to watch the POE power budget. 19W is probably close to double what other Unifi outdoor access points consume.

Interesting piece of gear. I missed outdoor on the first pass.

I just wired up a house with a UDM PRO SE and one of the older style AP outside...
days later the UCG was released and now this....

Ubiquiti keeps making stuff that people want. They seem to have taken the prosumer market mostly for themselves.
