A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa . 'The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago.. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG. High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water. However, there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we all have eaten, or will eat it. Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?'
After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row raised his hand, and softly said, 'Wedding Cake.'

LOL! Sadly, the correct answer is bar-b-que. There is something called advanced glycation end products. Proteins bond with oxidized carbs and you can't get it out of your system. This is in your body, not your engine.

Benzene is also in grilled food. A carcinogenic chemical.

Not to be confused with benzine.

Just don't breathe, eat, or buy any products while in California. No matter what the product is, it causes cancer if used in the state of California, but amazingly, nowhere else.
(Before I ruffle too many feathers, the sarcasm is now off)

Yet we are living 20 years longer than just a couple of generations ago. Believe what ya want, just as long as it doesn't come from the media. Remember "you could die next month!" is more likely to make you watch something than "you will live a lot longer than your grandma did"

BTW: my wedding cake was pretty good lol

When you speak of barbeque are you talking about grilling at home (grilled), or food cooked in a smoker (AKA barbeque)?

I love both, but rarely partake due to the extreme sleepiness and feelings of guilt that follow. LOL!
