Under Valve Cover Pics - 02 Highlander 2.4

51K miles on the car. Old cover gasket actually wasn't bad yet, but had some time to replace it. Was purchased by my parents 10 years ago with only 20K miles. I've been driving it more lately. Always used various syn oils. Kirkland 5W30 w/ 3oz. Auro RX the past few years. Change the oil once per year.
The gouge in the oil fill / timing chain cover probably would have shown high Fe!

Pretty much. Was nearly perfect until 3 years ago when it got hit standing still in a parking lot right between the doors. Luckily was able to get it repaired reasonably and it still looks nearly new.

Thats a keeper! If you told me that was a brand new engine I'd believe you. Make sure the transmission fluid stays clean and it will run forever!

Front wheel drive - yes. Never have checked the mileage.

Have done 3 drain and fills with Valvoline Extended Protection ATF....

Those are the Toyotas that gave Toyota their names. Newer Toyotas are going to destroy it.
