Ultra 1Plus 75w-90 12pk $83

That is the one that sheared 30% when tested.
I’ve seen some talk about that but haven’t been able to find the original post. Was the testing an extreme test? Pushing lubricants to levels that wouldn’t been seen in the real world? Any link? Thanks.

I would 100% use Supertech instead. They make a GL-4 version and I made the mistake of using it in the transmission of my manual xB for a couple of weeks. The noise and terrible shift feel convinced me to dump it ASAP and replace it with Motul 300.

Ah yes, my initial distrust of the brand and deal were not mistaken.
30% viscosity loss.

I'm the king of basic, inexpensive fluids and even I am unwilling to risk Ultra 1. It's just sketchy.

I dont understand how they donate to PQIA if they are no good. They meet ratings like gl4, just sounds like they’re really inconsistent.

I'd run their ATF in a part-time t-case or maybe even an old school TH350, C6 etc. Would be great for my leaking 2-post Bendpak ;)

But gear oil....eh, makes me nervous
