That price included pick up and drop off with one month storage. After that its $286 a month for all which I will get it all completed in maybe 10 days..What is the weight you will be shipping, and what is the weight limit, and what is the penalty per pound for going over the weight limit? What is the cost for dropoff at origination, how long do you get to keep pod at origination, same for destination?
Every time I tried to use pods, always found it to be a very high cost proposition.

Each box i believe is 6x8 feet and 2000 pounds.. weight was not mentioned as an issue on the online calculation. I won't hit 2000 in any of them. If you order too many they refund you ...but 3 seem to be the sweet spot.
PODs was higher.
One box shipped is $1900
They are today's reality everywhereThanks for the price quote. At these prices it does make me wonder if it's a publicly traded company.
What happens if he doesn't show up? Or he shows up at the very last moment when you have no other options and doubles the quote?I just called this company,
GLOBAL ELEGANCE MOVING & LOGISTICS LLC
I told him I'm putting most everything in those stackable containers and taking no furniture or beds but one family heirloom grandfather's clock. Up to 50 of them . .
900 mile load and unload and even to specific rooms for $1914....
I then thought I'd take my Spartan 61" zt as it's not the weight but the space it takes up would be another $800.... have to think on it but it's an expensive machine...

I sign a contract and pay 3 installments...down payment, at pickup, and at delivery.. I'm not worried and haven't had issues like that.... if that happens I'll just get someone else as I have no time constraints on either house. What happens if he doesn't show up? Or he shows up at the very last moment when you have no other options and doubles the quote?
Moving is a very tough business. Corporate moves can be feasible, but moving in general is a rough business for all involved.
No, moving is a non repeat customer business. You could say this about any deal you have in life....right?
So does the construction businessNo, moving is a non repeat customer business.
Moving attracts a tremendous amount of felons, drug addicts, sub contractors, I could go on and on.i moved typically every 18 months for over 30 years, have seen a lot.
Most people are very time constrained when it comes from moving. Glad you have alternatives readily and easily available. Most people don't.
You are correct, construction also fits some of the like concerns. So does the construction business![]()
