Tyson is done

My friend ordered the fight last night. Tyson is still exciting to watch but after last night, the guy has to give it up.

Round one was great, he was sharp and hitting hard. But after 3 rounds the guy was dead tired. ZERO stamina and it was showing. At 38 years old, I don't think their is nothing left in him.

He is $38 million in debt. What should he do know? I say right a book, everyone else is!

Laila Ali is pretty good looking. I like watching her fight.

Yeah, Tyson was my favorite fighter. I'm 27 so he was the fighter of my generation. He is a basket case and has had many problems outside the ring. I have a VHS tape called "Tyson's Greatest Hits". It goes through all his fights.

At 20 years old, he became the youngest champion ever. And to this day he is the last fighter to UNIFY ALL the BEALTS. Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis NEVER did this and faught Tyson when he was washed up. The guy had so much natural talent. Keven Rooney was the best trainer he ever had.

Antonio Tarver, who beat Jones, is now stepping up to the Heavy Weights. The Hopkins/De LaHoya fight should be good.

Cool, some boxing fans here.

Tyson was washed up after the Buster Douglas fight. Once the aura of invincibility was gone, he was done. After that his best hits were on women. With Lennox retired, the heavyweight division is thoroughly mediocre.

Hopkins/DLH won't be good at all if DLH is anything like he was in his last fight. Tonights fight (Morales/Hernandez) is what it is all about for fight fans. Two guys who will put on a great effort. Morales should win, but let's see.

Tyson got no choice he still got fight to pay his debt....What comes around goes around, he had it all..the man blew it and he's paying for it now...don't feel sorry for the man...he hydrochloride his career...

Nope, Douglas took all 3 belts when he KO'd Tyson in Tokyo. Holyfield took the 3 from Douglas and then Bowe took 3 from Holy.

Bowe threw 1 in the trash in 92-93(WBC I believe). Lewis won this one and when he beat Holy in their 2nd fight in 99 he unified all 3.

That was the last time all 3 were held by one guy.

Now it is a total mess but....

I alway thought of Tyson like you would a savant. A genius at one thing but he needed someone else incharge of the rest of his life. I think his contribution to sports will be (by accident) teaching other young althetes that you have to be more than great in your sport. Kind of sad.

All I know is that Tyson beat 3 or 4 Champions, acquired all the belts and then held on to them for 4 or 5 years. After is fights with Razor Ruddock, he went to jail. Ruddock faught a good fight but Tyson was at his peak then.

I love the presconference between those two. It was hillarious. They played clip from ESPN

Tyson said "I'm going to make you my girl friend. I want you to kiss me with those big black lips."

I think Tyson reminds me alot like Liston when he fell to Ali...his in that bind. I think he'll bounce back just the nature of the sport...got to bring intrigue into the heavyweight division. It's what the public wants to see....

Tyson can still make PPV money. He has a built in excuse already for this loss (knee ligament). He will return with a smaller less dangerous opponent. As a real contender, he hasn't been that for 'bout a decade and won't be again.
