Two jugs M1+2 M1 filters from AAP: Guess the cost

I dropped by an AAP today to pick up a PCV valve for the '02 Accord.
The engine had some consumption on the last OCI and I found that the PCV valve was stuck.
Guy ahead of me purchased two M1 oil filters and two jugs of M1 for two undemanding applications (Ford 5.4 and '94 Accord) at regular price.
Meanwhile, AAP has MSS on sale for $20.00/jug including a perfectly serviceable Driveworks filter.
I was astounded at the tab this guy paid for the supplies for a couple of oil changes.
A good example of how well marketing works with the unwary and unknowing consumer.

Go to walmart where they sell M1 5 qt jugs, invariably with fram orange cans and "as much cold medicine as you'll let me have this week."

2 weeks before I found BITOG last year I paid $120 for 4 jugs of GTX HM at autozone, I was aware that walmart was cheaper, just didn't realize it was almost half price.

Now I have a stash.
