My left upper eyelid has been twitching for the last 2 months...annoying! it's becoming more often i think...

i do drink 1 cup of coffee every day, spend 85% of time looking at a computer screen, and don't sleep much, and probably in stress, too: all popular reasons, from what I know...

wondering if anyone else have this annoying problem...

I have had this happen as well. I contribute it to lack of sleep and squinting while looking at the computer screen for extended periods of time.

It happens to me from time to time as well and I have no idea what causes it, as I have no trouble sleeping, and am not feeling much stress. I had a physical done this year and everything checked out there, and I'm not overweight (I weigh 158lbs, at 5'8" tall)

I will often get this annoying condition which will stick around for about 2-3 weeks, happening at a rate of about 9 or 10 times per day, maybe a bit more. But then as quickly as it comes, it goes away again. Very mysterious.

I get it too... Can't explain it. Seems to happen when I haven't had enough sleep and/or too much stress and/or excess caffeine.

It's annoying for sure.

It's called blepharospasm. In some forms it's just annoying, in other cases it's more serious. Some of the more common causes are:

Corneal irritation or injury
Stress
Lack of sleep
Fatigue
Prolonged staring or eye strain
Neurological disorders
Possibly Hereditary

JHZR2 has a good point.
Many minerals and trace minerals help nerve and muscle function.
Start supplementing with a good mineral supplement. It is wonderful for ALL sorts of body functions.

Actually its called myokymia and its curable usually with more calcium and potassium in the diet. One thing that helps it immediately is the quinine found in tonic water, so treat yourself to a nice gin and tonic :)

I cured my twitching eyelids instantly with vitamin B12 supplements. Twitching eyelids is one symptom of B12 deficiency.
