I Like to use tire shine but most all that I try leave my cars with splatter all over the side. UN-TILL NOW. I used the Platinum last night and I like the control of the spray and one coat leaves a great coverage. Drove to work and no splatter on the body or wheel wells.

Typically if you let it sit it shouldnt fling. I usually apply it and let it dry. Not always possible tho. I have to say i still occasionally use tire shine but ive kind of moved away from tire shines. The high gloss tends to look cheap. Weird because i used to really like it. Now i just clean my tires.
Stoner's More Shine Less Time works very well. Plus others rave about it also. Around $4 at Walmart iirc. Never had it fling and don't recall anyone reporting it. Lasts awhile and tires don't turn brown afterwards which is one of my biggest pet peeves.

Another cause for sling is using the wrong application tool. Squirting it onto a rag or paper towel doesn't allow it to spread very evenly. I recommend a foam applicator, specifically a curved one for tires.
