Yesterday I spent 5 hours getting to the rear plugs, Changed all 6 coils also and went with the NGK Ruthenium plugs.
Has 109k miles and plugs could have went another 100k I bet. Intake valves had zero crud on them.
i’m always confused on why good OE coils get replaced. my truck has its OE coils from 2002/240k miles ago. i have a brand new set of densos for it when they quit however.

To my understanding, OEM coils have a easier life if the gap on the sparkplugs doesn't grow much from new. So replacing the plugs early is to extend expected lifespan of coils.
