Trying to find information about Celor lubrication company - Trophy found

Dear All
I have bought in France a trophy made from Silver plate - it is engraved with Coupe and Celor which I believe to be a French lubrication company - so far I have found their previous address in Paris, lots of enamel plaques but not much more that would explain what the cup was for.
It may be that this is totally the wrong forum to be asking on but it was a very good place to start.

Whats the bottom and base made out of? I assume there are no other inscriptions?

Bottom is brass and base is marble
Its screwed on with nut and bolt rather than glued.
