Trufuel 2 cycle pre-mix question?

Try to find a place that sells ethanol free gas near you. They are popping up all around NC. Much cheaper to mix your own.

I do not know, although this is my third year using it. I go through so little 2-cycle that it doesn't make sense for me to mix it. 2 quarts is all I usually use for some hedge trimming, the weed wacker, and a tank or two in the chainsaw.

My equipment starts easier and runs stronger on it. For such a little quantity, it makes sense for me.

I do 3-4 yards a week, and I still have continued to use TruFuel in my OPE. I like the clear color (it doesn't stain when it spills), I like how easy it is for the engines to start, and I like not having to worry about stale fuel. It looks like I'll go through about three cans this season, which is about $15 in fuel. A gallon of E10 plus stabilizer plus oil would cost at least $5 anyway. 10 bucks for piece of mind and very clean-burning engines is worth it to me.

I run most of my equipment at part throttle, and I find that TruFuel burns much cleaner than mix-your-own in my style of use. Seems that the engines would need full throttle before to keep the ports clean. TruFuel is a real winner in my book. Funny; I'd have never tried it before buying a few cans for free at O'Reillys this spring. Since then, I've truly become hooked on it.

Agree, this stuff is fantastic for a homeowner that uses 2-3 cans a year. For a commercial operation it would be too costly, but for homeowners, this stuff is excellent.
