I have a Leer topper/cap for my pick up and noticed the one slider window on the front of the cap is broken. Has anyone ever replaced one of these on their own? There is a piece of trim on the inside of the window held on with 20 some 1/4" hex head screws. I'm thinking I need to remove the trim and pop the whole unit out so I can get the piece of new glass back in the track that it slides in. I planned to have a piece of glass made at a local glass shop. This particular slider window is made up of two separate pieces of glass that slide away from each other to open in the middle. Most likely there is some kind of seal on the outside of the window to keep water out. Cap is pretty old so that might be fun trying to remove! Just wondered if anyone had any advice or tips before I destroy the thing trying to fix it.

Thanks,
Scott
