We did not install new rotors either.

All that we did was a brake bleed/flush.
 
Don't tape the threads on the bleeders.
It does nothing.
If you are vacuum bleeding, it won't matter.
If you are pressure bleeding, it won't matter.
If you are two man bleeding properly, it won't matter.
