Tried a New Beer

I am usually reluctant to try beers closely associated with dogs and horses.

I prefer dark, malty beer. I'm not big on hops, though they look pretty, growing tall next to the Autobahn.

I used to grow my own.

When I brewed my own.

I just would hope that dog beer don't taste as bad as the label artwork.......

flying dog is pretty good. their labels are terrible though.

Anybody try Kingfisher from India? A truly fine beer IMO.

kingfisher is good, so is taj mahal. i prefer ales to lagers though.

I'm not a fan of shiner bock, but i have drank enough of it for two people in one sitting. it's amazing what you can do when you are bored while visiting northern texas.

Celis brewery on the other hand brews (brewed?) some excellent beer.

It's a bit thin and a little too sweet for my taste.

Shiner Bock is crap. It was originally a good beer until the originators sold the name and style to the big boys. All the cheapening substitutions went in and now you have instant diarrhea maker in a bottle.
