Gang,

Anyone know where I can buy a good screwdriver in triangle tip? I found a few on Amazon, but they seem cheaply constructed beyond belief. Lasko in their infinite wisdom uses all Phillips screws in their fans EXCEPT for one screw and it is triangle shaped. I had 2 fans stop running and before I toss them and buy new ones I wanted to see if I could repair them. I cannot get into the case without the triangle screwdriver.

Thanks in advance for any tips...

Even if they are cheap, if they can loosen the one screw, perhaps they are good enough?

Id personally try to look at McMaster or equivalent for the right bit and use it in one of my favorite ratcheting multi screwdrivers...

If you have a grinder or file . I would try grinding a square tip bit into a triangle , then throw those triangle screws away.

Forgot all about McMaster; they have them for less than $4.00 each.

Thanks JHZR2!
