10 year old Halle, a precious little girl, came down with the flu early last week. By Thursday, she was in VCH (Vanderbilt Children's Hospital) with heart failure, needing a heart transplant.
Today she died.
Ignore the lackluster reporting from this station which leaves out a ton of info but at least here's some of her tragic story

Our whole community rallied around them, didn't matter if you knew them or not. You felt the sense of urgency and tragedy about the whole thing.
I couldn't imagine one day my daughter has a bad cold, the next she's in ICU with heart failure.
And if you ever think you have any problems in your life, no matter how awful, take a walk through a children's hospital. By the time you reach the other side, your problems will vanish solely by observing little children who did nothing but still have terrible cancers, deformations, etc.
RIP Halle.
