Transmission Fluid Check

I have a 2001 Volvo V70 Cross Country (4WD) and have noticed transmission fluid stains on my driveway. I am unable to locate a dipstick for the tranny. How can my transmission fluid level be checked? My owner’s manual does not address this.

this might not apply to you, but some european makes don't have a way to check the level. some have a 2 holes on the underside where you either drain or pump in a certain amount of fluid.

i would call the service department and they can look in their manuals.
