Transmission cooler 95 grand prix

I have a 1995 grand prix 3.1L. It has a transmission cooler built into the radiator in the passenger side. It has a hole for the fluid in the top and bottom of the passenger side water tank. Does anyone know which of these holes is the inlet(from trans) and which is the outlet (to trans)? It looks like the hot fluid goes into the bottom and comes out the top. Can anyone confirm this. I need to reattach these lines and I don't know which goes where. My service manual is unhelpful. It just says "attach lines."

It shouldn't matter-the radiator tank/coolant should all be roughly the same temperature. Surprised the lines aren't "pre-bent" so that you can tell which line goes where.

It should be the same as my Buick. Hot fluid in the bottom, cool fluid back to the transmission up top.

i believe the top one is usually the inlet at least on some of the ones i worked on but dont hold me to it

I looked and looked for the hoses, I could not find any. Every auto shop had the transmission side, but not the radiator side. The tubes were leaking and I ended up making my own.

I thought it was that way, but I wanted to make sure. Turns out that's right! Hot fluid in the bottom cool fluid comes out the top! Thanks for the replies.
