Transfer case and Diff drain plug gasket/washer 2019 Santa Fe

So, never done this before. First AWD vehicle that I am doing maintenance on in the Transfer Case and Differential in a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L AWD.

My question is drain plug crush washers. Both have an 18mm hole with a 24mm diameter. Trying to source OEM is not necessarily important to me, but if it’s reasonable, then fine.

Generics on Amazon? Or, just reuse the old ones? Just curious to see what others think or what they would do.

Reuse the old ones this time. Order some for next time

Whatever you go with - make sure you crack open the fill plug first. Will avoid you draining the fluid then realizing your fill plug is stuck.

Probably what I will do. I’m not doing the work until next weekend or weekend after, so I have time, but reusing them once should be fine.

This! I have been in this position before. What a headache I got myself into.

I reused mine. Be aware Hyundai uses red loctite on the diff drain plug.
