Most transmissions have the valve body and solenoids sold together.Thanks! The weird thing is it only happens when fully warmed up! On to of that the converter locks up very quickly during normal driving, and when coasting to a stop it sends the unlock signal several seconds before I actually stop.
I've spent so much I'm thinking to replace both the solenoids and valvebody at this point and call it done
If you had infinite time and no money you could swap the solenoids around and see if the problem moves or goes away.
Usually the torque converter unblocks when you touch the brake and let off the gas, but not always. I try to stay away from Ford transmissions unless it's the Diesel truck one.
If it always doing that it may not be a transmission problem at all.
