Trans Fluid for 2007 Sonata?

I put a lot of miles on annually....I know I need Hyundai Spec fluid. Do any over the counter brands meet this?

Amsoil ATF and Pennzoil Multi vehicle recommend for Hyundai. You might grenade your warranty though as the manual is very specific.

SP III at a Kia dealer really isn't that expensive.

Besides the Castrol, Pennzoil, QuakerState, and Amsoil already mentioned, don't forget the Idemitsu, Kendall, Advantage, BG, Excel, Schaeffers, and Eneos ATFs. Make sure that the bottle says universal or multivehicle ATF.

I do recommend regular drain/refills if you plan on keeping the car a long time. Hyundai's tend to beat ATF into oblivion quickly.

I also have a couple of Hyundai's running ATF+4, which might also be considered an option.

I'm planning on doing 30k changes...I guess I'l lget fluid at the dealer!
