The EIA says California gas prices hit $6 a gallon last year. It didn’t last long but apparently it happened.

paid six dollars a gallon this august in san diego.

Took a vacation in CA during 7/22. Paid $6.899 once. Saw it over eight bucks in Furnace Creek.
