Picked one of these up even knowing the scam of the various bits. 13 pounds of metal in this kit. Sockets go up to an inch. 72 tooth ratchets aren't too bad, though GW has a more premium line with even less backdrag. The wrenches are a stupid joke though, just a few sizes around 10-12mm and 1/2-inch. (They are six-point though, slightly odd.) Might make a good emergency tool kit to leave in the blow-mold case.
It doesn’t strike me as a bad deal for items of this quality level. And I know that when I look closely at my Craftsmen set cobbled together from a number of kits thirty years ago, I would be kidding myself if I said every tool is in great shape or would calibrate out correctly. On the small pieces, I get that some will never be used, but when you need them, you need them.
