I am going to change the gear oil in my 2003 Tundra. The Transfer case and rear differential use a 24 mm socket. Does anyone know what size allen socket for the front differential?
Thanks

Thanks JCAL, just waiting on the oil to arrive.

Hi Par, Both Amsoil, the rear will be 2000 75-140 and the transfer and front 75-90.

Don't know, that is what it called for in the manual. I suppose that is what is in now.

In that case maybe you will pick up a slight increase in fuel economy by putting synthetic in. Or no change at all.

I have a 4x4 tacoma and the front diff used a 10 mm allen. i used a standard allen wrench.

Thanks JCAL, worked great. With 10k on my truck the only thing was some small metal bits on the large magnetic plug in the front diff. Other than that went smooth.
