Oh trust me I have the most contempt for UAW members that do that or any group doing well in America and not supporting other workers here as well within reason.
I know an old guy who has a GM pension and now buys only imports, like a new car or 2 every year. He actually has a partial pension from military service and I don't know what else. Yet he's always concerned about every little loss to his UAW retiree benefits, blah.
But in fairness to the younger union guys, they aren't make all that much money now.
