Toyota Oil Filters

They use bulk whatever GF4 - Toyota genuine oil is just GF4 per their TSB. They dont install the stuff in the bottles in parts, that's something else; OEM mobil and ??.

Toyota dealers' walk-in parts departments everywhere (Toyota owns Denso) --but it says "Toyota" on the filter, of course.
If you want the "Denso" labeled filters, you may have to order them. (Or paint Denso over the Toyota marking. heehee)

ARCO, please understand that I'm not asking this to hassle you, I'm just curious about your statement. I've heard of motors sounding different with different oils, but I've never heard of one running poorly just because of a certain brand of oil or filter. Can you shed some more light on this?
