My wifes 2006 Toyota Avalon has a cartridge oil filter cannister thats an odd size. I have about 8 different wrenches but none will fit the cannister bottom on her car. I got lucky the last time I changed the oil in her car by using a strap wrench. Can you guys tell me where I can get the right sized wrench to fit this car without having to spend a fortune at the dealer for one? Thanks

It is a 64mm socket that is called for, and that Assenmacher fits on there solidly like a vault door.
You will have no slip/slide using it. Doesn't need a lot of torque, and there are two o-rings involved inside the canister.

The cap 64 using a ratchet was like $6.00 at Toyota dealer near Glendale and/ or Autozone. Not like the heavy duty style suggested above but gets the job done.

Worked fine under a RAV I changed the filter on.
