My adult son is looking to replace his very reliable 2014 Kia Soul with 220K miles on it (1.6L). He is first going to have our "personal" mechanic give him an estimate to repair everything on the Kia - all wear items and mostly suspension components (struts, etc.). He thinks that these repairs will give him 1 or possibly 2 more years with it. We are aware of the current car market - sigh.
Any one here familiar with and/or have opinions of the Toyota CH-R? The reported low engine power and cramped back seats are not a concern. Reliability as a daily driver is the key priority. It's low popularity might make it a better financial option.
Thanks!!
