Wow! That was great!!

We were there last summer and really enjoyed our trip to the "foreign land"! We could see all of it from the hotel room which had floor to ceiling glass and was facing the fall!

Foreign land? LMAO!!!! Dude, it's Canada! It isn't like you went to Japan or something, LOL!

Have you been to Niagara Falls USA? When we crossed over in to Niagara Falls Ontario, it was like going in to 1st world country from a third world country! Coming back was even more striking.

I stand by my "foreign land" comment :-)

I've been to Niagara Falls, Ontario many times; went over to NY once, won't do it again!

Am I the only one here who is just as fascinated with the camera drone as the scenery?

Niagara Falls Ontario isn't exactly a good representation of Ontario though, a lot of that area is pretty run down. Drive further into Ontario and it's much nicer, the homes are newer, roads are better kept, etc. I visit Niagara Falls a lot, and there are a lot of fun things to do, but I'm also always quite amazed at how poorly maintained that city is, and how scummy some of the homes look in the area. I'd never feel safe living there.

VERY nice!

We were at the NY side for a day and half and enjoyed the falls. Did not go over to the "foreign"

land but will next time if time allows.

Patman,

You must have misunderstood me, I was saying that Canadaian side of Niagara Falls is way better maintained than the US side.

The parts that tourists see is very nice; but there are several neighbourhoods in that city that look quite un-Canadian; almost Detroit-like.

I don't think crime is any more a problem there than in other Canadian cities, though: It just looks it!

The view is much better on our side, Bill.

The Maid of the mist view was good! (Loved that!)

Actually I didn't misunderstand you, I know you meant that the Canadian side was better maintained, and I was saying that even still, it looks pretty ragged compared to other areas of Ontario. IMO, both sides of Niagara Falls could use some TLC! Considering how much money flows into those towns you would think they could put some it back into the community.

I just think those relatively inexpensive drones are amazing.

I am really considering buying one to see how I can program it using sensor input to let it fly by itself. I have started fiddling with the code in an emulator. Just have not pulled the trigger.

When I go to Mississauga , I take the Peace Bridge, because the border crossing is faster. Right after the border, the road is lined with vineyards and greenhouses. In early July, the GHs dont look to be used.
