I got some for VW and Honda. Who makes them, as if I could not guess.

Cool. Great deal for VW owners.
Just be careful not to tighten them too tight due to the better grip. They're a bear to get off if you do. I actually got six so far but this time i'm going to be more careful, had to buy a oil filter wrench the last time I tried to use them.
