Topping up oil when engine still running

Yes, the oil microwave myth is dispelled as soon as you heat left over Italian...the tide line of chewed up plastic.

Know a girl who decided to make microwave roux in a microwave safe container...ended up a sloppy molten mess on the floor of it.

MW's heat by the excitation of water molecules. Unless your oil has a significant amount of water in it, (and I hope it does not!) the MW won't do much good.

Do you reheat your food in the same microwave? I’m not sure this is anything I would even attempt let alone recommend.

Makes about as much as dumping oil into a running engine doesn't it?
