The 6100 is probably the same as what we call a full synthetic in the U.S. since in the States "full synthetic" is considered an advertising term only, of which the NAD allows group III catalytically de-waxed Hydroprocessed from crude oil Hi-VI basestocks.
Though, I think I'd agree that Shells' new GTL stocks as technically correct term synthetic - which appears they employ in their "conventional" to some good degree.
