This story outlines the creator of 60 minutes will more than likely vote for Kerry. Considering this is coming from the same team that brought us the Richard Clark book...what a surprise! No doubt he committed to not totally giving away who he's voting for, but it's quite obvious once we chisel away the PC speak.
Most compelling to me is that someone who's dealt with the news for so long is so clueless when it comes to terrorism. "If I should hold anything against George Bush," Hewitt said, it was that the invasion "created more terrorists." DUH! They were already on our turf flying planes into buildings, remember? There were already here and ready to stomp on us like a narc at a biker rally. We need to weed them out...the goverment already knows who they are...these groups are rising to the surface much quicker with the Iraq war than without.
And we're likely to "learn" more about Kerry. Hewitt says "But I don't know why I want to vote for Kerry. I don't know who he is." I've heard the "I don't know who Kerry is" several times already in the past few months.
Translation: the media has found a new excuse to air even more about John Kerry under the guise that the "public will be more informed" of who he is. We know who he is. Please, please, please, no more!
Like spyware on a computer, the obvious tainting of programming in the liberal direction on major networks is just as annoying. At least with SpyBot, Ad-Aware, and Trojan Remover, you can rid your computer of the illicit software. Do they make such a thing for TV networks?
