Too soon to flush coolant?

that is kind of ridiculous to me... ATF, diff, engine oil, transfer case, PS fluid, etc. all make sense to me, but coolant does not have real quantities of wear particles, etc in it, and it is pretty highly additized these days with superior longevity.

3 years 36k miles is the earliest Id do coolant unless you were switching chemistries. Otherwise, leave the system closed and alone...

Keep the radiator fins clean - that is a better project!

The dealer may recommend every 30k, but Ford's G-05 fluid is rated for 5-yr/100k miles for the initial service according to the factory maintenance schedule.

How long does it take you to get 15K?

Draining/refilling the radiator every year or every 2 years is a good way to NOT have coolant issues down the road.

I test my coolant (amsoil) with Ph strips and a PG tester once a year. I might change it when the maintenance schedule says so...but if it still checks ok, why change it? I'll just check it more often IMO.

You can if you want but even at the dealership we are not doing them on 30K anymore. We start thinking about it at 60K but not even a pressure sale their just a mere suggestion as it is available. We are starting to go closer to 100K. Not been an issue at all.

The Ford stuff is pretty dang good. Would personally recommend 60+80K for first change.
