Had to take my Accord in for the 01-02 Airbag recall to make sure the Airbag wouldn't frag me,if it deployed. Had the dealer do a simple drain and fill with 4 quarts of DW-1. Result is smoother, more positive shifting. I'll do another D&F in about 15,000 or so.

I did an ATF change with 3 quarts of DW1 on my "new" 97 Accord with 248k about a month ago. It's possible the ATF was original, it was dark and burnt smelling, and it took me 30 minutes to get that drain plug loose, which usually happens when trying to break loose factory tightened fasteners. The magnetic bit in the plug had about 1 to 1.5 mm of trapped material. I couldn't find any mention of an ATF change in the maintenance records, at least later than about 90k, I got bored at some point.
The first day it shifted smoother, but it gradually got jerky again, but I'd say it's still a bit smoother than before the ATF change. Or it may be, that the first day was the only day to judge the change. I'll do another change in about 4k miles, I'm curios about what the magnetic plug will pick up.

I'm sure it'll help out towing that bass boat.

Quite a difference,hard to feel the 3/4 shift. I may just do a 3-4 quart D & F once a year.

I'm pretty much up to the knee.
I did 3x drain and refills in 350 miles.
Truck(RL)has 12k.
Will probably do a drain and refill every spring since the maintenance minder seems to go to 35-40k for this.

Lol. Nice truck. Really,shifting nicely today. I'm gonna do a 3 quart D&F 1 x per year,going forward. Noticeably,improved my shift quality.

I didn't know what DW-1 meant, leading to two incorrect assumptions:

1. You posted this in the wrong section, since I assumed DW-1 stood for something like Deionized Water 1, which I further assumed might be the label for a deionized water tank.

2. You meant 'toe' in the literal sense.
