So my wife went out to Colorado to help our daughter for a little over a month. While there she used the Bidet they have. She really liked it other than the water not being heated. So I ordered a Luxe Neo 185 Plus from Amazon when she got home. Will install it today.

So have you tried them? Do you have one? What did you get?

Yeah, have bought and given away several brondell. Only installed one in the utility room - wife does not want them in the other two bathrooms … I think it’s dumb not to have them … They are common in Asia and the ME.

I put one of these in my guest bathroom, and now there is no way I would ever want to be without one. I put them into much the same category as a microwave oven, TV remote control, or a backup camera on a vehicle.

Once you have one, you'll wonder how the hell you ever lived without it. I'm sorry, but this is where the Europeans have us beat all to hell. They discovered long ago it is much better to have a system to wash your backside. Where as we still think taking dry paper and smearing crap all over it is, "clean enough".

You wouldn't wipe your sweaty armpits with toilet paper and call them clean. So why would you do the same with your butt? Sorry to be a bit crude, but there is no better way I can explain it.

This unit from Home Depot is well made, not expensive, easy to install, and works like magic. And if someone asks "what is that"? Just tell them, "You don't see any grass or plants in here, do you"?... Trust me, they'll be able to figure it out.

I don’t think we are talking about the second clump of porcelain that’s in my 5 star hotel - many folks have gone to the device that slips between the porcelain and the seat - cheap and easy …
Now if you want heated and fancy - they are available …

have traveled the globe for decades and don’t know what that means
Do more traveling then. Not sure what to tell you. I have been to every continent, except Antarctica, what does that qualify me for? Are we in the same club?

The American consumer drives the economy of the world, or at least it has. That is what I mean. Just becuase the fruitcakes in Europe have bidets means nothing, is further what i was saying.
