good morning!!!! Thank you ALL for all the great help!
i have a 2008 Cadillac DTS just about to turn thirty thousand miles. it came with some kind of Michelins. over the years, i have bought michelins, not knowing anything.

can you all recommend some GREAT quality tires for this car? i care about safe handling, then comfort, and last, tread wear. i would rather replace a superb tire earlier than a cheap tire later.
best

I dont think you can go wrong with michelins.

I'd take a look at the tires in your size at the Tire Rack, and see which are rated highly with a lot of end user miles accumulated (some tires may have a high score but have only been out a short time so it isnt a good sample).

Goodyear ComfortTred Touring.

I have a set on a Park Avenue. They work fantastic on luxury cars.

Goodyear really understood the market for this tire.

Michelin Primacy MXV4

America's have $70.00 off a set of Michelin's right now.

IMO, Michelin makes the best quality tires with the fewest issues. The Primacy MXV4 tires that finklejag recommended are the way to go.
